I’m Reika ◡̈
I'm a graphic designer that has fun making print, motion and experimental web design. I have a strong interest in the wider creative process spanning research, product photography, production and creative direction. Outside of my technical practice, I'm passionate about cultural anthropology, linguistics, and understanding the role of graphic designers within the framework of modern capitalism.
I'm currently pursuing a Communication Design BFA at Parsons School of Design, the co-director of the design team AIGA@TNS, and a member of the student collective Return to Library. Notable past contributions at The Museum of Modern Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
When I'm not hunched over my laptop, I refuel my creative energy through reading, rock climbing, drawing, and drinking absurd amounts of bubble tea.
